Reverend Dr. Samuel G. Williams was born in North Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands. He was brought up in a humble home with parents who knew and served God. Their lifestyle is what shaped Rev. Williams' faith and character during his formative years.
As a young man, Rev. Williams enjoyed a successful career as an engineer in the shipping industry, however, sensing that something was missing, he gave his life to the Lord. Later on, he heard and answered God's call to go forth preaching the gospel and made himself available for service. He left his career behind and enrolled at the Hope Sound Bible College in 1987. After completing his studies, he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Ministerial Studies.
In 1989, Rev. Williams joined the Turks & Caicos Baptist Union and was given Pastoral oversight of the Middle Caicos circuit of Baptist Churches. This was a test of his commitment to the work of God, as he resided in North Caicos with his family and braved the weather many days as he travelled by boat along with his wife and children to minister to the people of Middle Caicos, where he served faithfully for twelve years.
In 2001, Rev. Williams accepted the Pastoral post at the Paradise Baptist Church, in Providenciales. This he thought, would be his greatest challenge, however, God rewarded him for his faithfulness and raised up laborers to work alongside him. Pastor Williams is married to Mrs. Whitlean Williams and together they have nine children.
